DRS (10)

DRS (short for Dope Reach Squad) is a Bulgarian hip-hop and ragga group. They originated as a graffiti crew in 1998. The constant members of the group are Ndoe and Mytag. In 1994 they formed Амнистия and released two albums with that group. DRS is their second joint project. In 2001 they collaborated with many artists to produce their first album, "Урок #1" (Lesson #1). It had a tremendous impact on bulgarian hip-hop culture. Due to the diversity of the artists involved in its making, the album has tracks with Jamaican (Raggaskit I and II), hardcore (Nokautskit), and pop (Julianaskit) sound apart from the traditional hip-hop sound of the group. In 2001, DRS signed with Sniper Records (7), one of the two biggest bulgarian hip-hop labels, and has been their asset since then. Since 2002 DRS was joined by Нокаут (3) to form DRS+, the new name of both groups . DRS+ is considered the most prominent representative of a bulgarian hip-hop. They have numerous appearances all over the country and in clubs in Sofia, Bulgaria. Their latest appearance was in Back To Da Unity at Dauhaus, Sofia.
