Romy Fölck

Romy Fölck was born in Meißen in 1974. She studied law, went into business and worked for a large company in Leipzig for ten years. In her mid-thirties, she decided to live her big dream of writing. She quit her job and her apartment and moved north. Today, she lives with her husband in a house in the Elbmarsch region near Hamburg, where her novels are written. All volumes of her crime series about the unequal investigator duo Paulsen and Haverkorn were on the Spiegel bestseller list and received many enthusiastic reviews from reviewers and readers. In August, the novel "Die Rückkehr der Kraniche" (The Return of the Cranes) will be published by Rowohlt Wunderlich, which for the first time is not set in the crime genre.
