Audionova was founded in summer 2006 as a cooperation between Dusan Momcilovic (Dushan) and Nemanja Rancic (Nemy). These guys didn’t know each other before, nevertheless they found out very fast that they share the same music interests. At that moment Audionova was born. With his long DJ career, Dushan is quite known DJ in the world of electronic music in Serbia and nearby countries. He started his career as a DJ in 2001, and his interests in the electronic music dates back from 1998. Dushan's professional beginnings are connected to tech-trance. Later on, he becomes one of the leading DJ’s and promoters in Serbia. Of course, throughout all these years music evolution left a significant mark on his sets and his musical taste, so today he describes his style mostly as a mixture of house with elements of techno and minimal. Nemanja Ranchic showed interest in music since very beginning. His love for music and all that music represents started when he was 7. He went to the primary musical school, and after that he continued his musical education at the secondary school for music (guitar), which he finished in 2005. Shortly after that he starts studies of musical production at the university, and he is still doing that with a great success. Throughout the years of his education, apart from various older musical styles (including ethno) he meets electronic music, which motivates him to start exploring that field. In the summer 2006 he met Dushan and they started to work as Audionova. From the beginning it was clear that the foundation of Audionova’s sound will soon include capability to work with several musical styles. In the meantime, they have succeeded to draw attention of many great producers, DJ’s and release pools. Because of that, Audionova tracks are now on various charts and are being supported by Sasha, John Digweed, Laurent Garnier, Valentino Kanzyani, Marko Nastic, Arnaud Le Texier, Matt Star, Sean O’Neil and many others. The only thing these guys promise is that they will work as hard as possible in order to continuously develop their sound, and it is left for you to judge whether they are really successful in doing that.
