Was born in Antwerp and studied in her hometown at the Royal Flemish Music Conservatory. Obtained the higher diploma in singing with Lucie Frateur and furthermore followed master courses with various singing pedagogues. Until 1991, Jeanine Lambrechts contributed to the Antwerp Bach Choir, conducted by Michael SCHECK, as a soloist and voice teacher. Numerous concerts took her to Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, England, Austria, France, U.S.A. and Japan. She has also performed in various festivals including: Paris, Besançon, Montpellier, Flanders and Wallonie. She currently sings regularly in productions of “Capella Brugensis o.l.v. P. Peire. In addition to many oratorios by J.S.Bach and G.Fr.Händel, her repertoire also includes other works from the early and late Baroque. Bach, Handel, Mozart and Haydn are her favorite composers in both spiritual works and operas. Her repertoire of songs ranges from Mozart, Schubert, H. Wolff to Hindemith and Fr. Martin. In her performance, the pure and flexible voicing and the inner experience of the interpretation of the works are always striking. She is also affiliated with Koor & Stem where she provides highly valued assistance to choirs and conductors with regard to voting. Until October 2007 she was a teacher in singing, didactics and voice formation for choir conductors at the Lemmens Institute. She was also a guest teacher in teacher training at the K.V. Music Conservatory in Antwerp. In addition to being a permanent member of the Provincial Choir Tournament in the province of Antwerp, she has been the conductor of the ST Cecilia choir in Hoboken and since 2001 and of 2013 of Continuo in Schoten.
