Jeff Lloyd

Originally from the Detroit area, Lloyd gained notoriety in the 1970s in Florida as a guitarist, vocalist, and recording engineer. He moved to California and released an EP of original songs, then kept producing and recording other artists. He mentored Johnny J Blair "Singer at Large," going on to collaborate with Blair on a few recordings. Lloyd's later material has become less pop/rock and more experimental, oriented towards New Age music and World Music. He expanded his instrumental palette into synthesizers, ethnic stringed instruments, and world percussion. Currently, he performs on percussion with flamenco music groups around the Tampa Bay Area of Florida.
