Racing out of the San Diego music scene at the height of bands like Rocket From The Crypt, Unwritten Law, and The Rugburns, The Offenders enjoyed early success with a strong single, "Keep Me Around," on 91x in San Diego and were awarded honors from the station's legendary local specialty show "Loudspeaker" by DJ Lou Niles. This album was made via that momentum and enjoyed moderate interest from major labels and Los Angeles radio stations KCRW KNAC and KLOS.
