Wilhelm Tempel

Brass band leader and composer, born in Lorraine (Alsace) in 1880. After a musical education on various wind, string and keyboard instruments, he became a military musician and thus came to Villingen. From 1913 to 1935 he was the director of Stadtmusik Villingen, in which a handful of musicians played at the time.
