Bill Kearns (3)

Canadian producer and record company publishing executive. Started his career at Quality Records Limited in 1954 then in 1964 moved to Columbia Records of Canada, Ltd. as Director of A&R and publishing. In 1972 he was appointed General Manager of Kanata Records Limited then in 1974 he returned to Quality as General Manager of Quality's publishing division (Qualrec Music Pub. Ltd. and Shediac Music Publishing Ltd.). In the late 1970s he moved to Broadland Records and by 1984 he left to start his own consultancy/production company, Jobina Communications. In 1984 he was named Vice President of PROCAN and in April 1988 he was appointed as a board member of FACTOR, positions he would hold until passing away in November 1990.
