Brett Hexx - Lead Guitar Jesse Harvey - Vocals/Guitars Alex Erhardt - Bass Struan Robertson - Drums Hometown - Ooronto, Ontario, Canada Started in 2015 by Brett “Hexx” Williams and Struan Robertson, AMMO was a project where they could write and perform heavy metal music that pays homage to bands of the past while giving it a modern edge. After recruiting Alex Erhardt (Ex-Horde of Worms) and Megan Merrick (Iron Kingdom), the band started performing live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The band had a brief hiatus in 2018 and returned without Merrick. Replacing her was guitarist Jesse Harvey. AMMO quickly grew into a local powerhouse who played with the likes of Grim Reaper, Floatsam and Jetsam, Anvil, Helix, Warbringer, and Enforcer. During 2018, Jesse Harvey became the lead singer so Brett Hexx could focus on the lead guitar work. On October 25th 2019, a 5 song EP titled, “Taking the Throne” was released independently. Using this release, they plan to tour North America and break into the European circuit.
