Victor Chin

Victor Chin was the brother of Randy's Records founder Vincent Chin (later co-founder of VP Records). The Brooklyn-based Chin-Randy's shop on St. John's Place and Schenectady was open from the 1960s, eventually home to Keeling Beckford's shop. Randy's label records from this address are distinct in design from those originating in Jamaica. Chin-Randy's was a separate enterprise with different releases from Randy's Jamaica, although they often distributed music from Randy's Jamaica. Chin-Randy's releases included productions from Phil Pratt, Bunny Lee, Lee Perry, as well as Victor Chin's own.
