Sylvia Raye

Australian entertainer based in Sydney, born circa 1943. Worked with the Australian Broadcasting Commission Concert Band and toured Vietnam twice to entertain Australian troops, in October 1970 when she was 27 years old and again in December 1971. She was a regular performer on the Nine Network’s Bandstand and hosted her own radio programme on the ABC.
