In 50 years of art, illustration, graphic and set design work, Mello Menezes has created a great number of illustrations for various medias: the opening of soap operas, the remakes of Gabriela and Saramandaia, and Velho Chico (TV Globo) and Mandacaru (TV Manchete) as well as for publicity agencies, storyboards, magazines and children’s book publications. For the music industry, Menezes designed more than 60 album covers and live performance scenery for prestigious artists such as: Aldir Blanc and João Bosco, Tom Jobim, Elis Regina Fátima Guedes, Guinga, Ivan Lins, Hermínio Bello de Carvalho / Pixinguinha Project, Clementina de Jesus, Moacyr Luz and more. He recently designed the album cover for the series "Samba" for Apple Music in New York.
