The Russian Sacred Music Choral Ensemble "Blagovest"

Moscow Ensemble of Sacred Music "Blagovest" was created on the basis of the church choir in 1987. Since 1992, the ensemble has become a state team under the Department of Culture of the city of Moscow. The creative tasks of the ensemble are the revival of ancient Russian church traditions in sacred music, as well as the discovery of forgotten and new names of Russian composers and émigré composers, whose heritage is the golden fund of national musical and spiritual culture.
