Magda Szécsy

Hungarian-born actress and singer (soprano). Performed on German stages (1913 in Stuttgart-Cannstadt). Between October 1916 and January 1918, she recorded 6 German and 3 Hungarian songs for Victor in New York City, including a number of duets with Gyula Szalay a.k.a. Julius Szalay. Around August 1917, Szécsy alone also recorded a German title for Columbia that was released on Columbia E3511.
