Musician, singer and songwriter, born in Jakarta, August 1, 1952. Since childhood he has been skilled in playing the piano and organ, began studying music since he was 9 years old. At first he learned from his own father who was also an expert at playing the piano, then at the Jakarta Music Education Foundation and the Music Academy, Lembaga Pendidikan Seni Jakarta (LPKJ) which he had only lived for 1.5 years. His career as Songwriter was marked by his victory in the 1979 National Pop Song Festival, where his song The Fall of Arrogance was chosen as Champion I and After I Know as Champion III, took him as a semi-finalist in the World Pop Song Festival in Tokyo. In 1981, the Government sent it to the ASEAN Song Festival in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with the song Diimu Satu. Previously, he was chosen as the First Winner of Arrangement in the Festival Vocal Group Dewan Gereja Indonesia (DGI) in 1976. Many of his songs were made by recording albums, including, Falling Arrogance, After I Knew, You Are One, Hear God, Love, and Share Rasa. The song, Yourself One had reached hits in the world of pop music, in fact, The Fall of arrogance won the golden disc.
