Pete Franklin

Blues singer, guitarist and pianist, born January 16, 1928 in Indianapolis, Indiana, died: July 31, 1975 in the same city (heart disease). Also known as Guitar Pete Franklin. The number of recordings under his name is slim: he recorded for Victor in Chicago in 1949 (two titles released) and an LP for Bluesville in 1961. He also played on Chicago sessions with St. Louis Jimmy Oden in 1948, Jazz Gillum and Mildred White in 1949, and John Brim, Ernest Cotton, and Sunnyland Slim in 1952. Attention!
