Barbara Bailey Hutchison

Vocalist, songwriter. Barbara is a Grammy Award winning singer songwriter who has appeared at the White House three times, performed in all 50 states, as well as Japan, Korea, the Philippines, and Thailand. She grew up in Detroit, Michigan and launched her career in music while studying art at Michigan State University. She toured colleges & universities throughout the United States and was voted "Best Solo Performer", "Best Acoustic Performer", and "Best Female Performer" in a national magazine poll. Advertising production houses discovered her smooth and powerful voice and chose her to sing hundreds of commercials for McDonald's, Hallmark Cards, Heinz, and other national advertisers. In 1996 she was awarded the music industry's highest recognition when she received a Grammy Award for "Best Musical Recording for Children", After nearly 4 decades of enjoying a successful career in her chosen field, Barbara retired from the music business and found her way back to being a visual artist.
