Rose Cologne

Weaving post-punk, surf, and psychedelia into a new brand of slinky, skin-tingling rock 'n’ roll, Rose Cologne will hypnotize a crowd upon the first riff. The three piece is fronted by Queens native Nasa Hadizadeh and supported by Brian Chillemi (CHILLEMI, Organs, Junk boys) and Alex Fippinger (Mary Vision, Ying Yangs, Junk Boys). With several years of musical camaraderie and brotherhood under their belts, Alex and Brian found a muse in Nasa. Rock 'n' roll needs naivete in its spirit and with no musical baggage in tow Nasa quickly learned the bass and supplied the riff for their first single, “Last Night”. “Nasa has such a moody vibe musically, I wanted to produce songs to fully express it — that was really exciting to me,” says Brian. With a shared love of all things of a darker tinge, Rose Cologne has carved out a unique sound of their own while projecting three distinct personalities on stage. You could call them the love child of The Cramps, Mazzy Star, and Shocking Blue, but there’s an additional enigmatic quality in the mix that gives them a rare air of mystery and sonic allure. Their unique sound quickly caught the attention of bands like Viagra Boys, Dilly Dally, Kills Birds, and Launder who’ve all added them to their bills stateside and abroad. The band is set to release their debut EP ‘Dark Alarm’ via Muddguts Records on 10/18.
