Wakeless

Metal from Guelph, ON Artist Bio from their website: Wakeless was formed in Guelph, Ontario, Canada in 2010. Plagued by member changes, the band managed to solidify a line up of seasoned musicians. Comprised of past members of touring bands, Wakeless decided to defer the act of arbitrarily jumping on the road to sink more time into developing their own brand of heavy music. The bands sound combines heavy metal roots with a southern rock approach, an atmospheric element and a touch of 90’s alternative. Though their sound is tough to lump into a genre or even sub genre, the band has been referred to as “depth metal” by a local dj on 88.3 CJIQ FM and has snowballed throughout their local scene. Wakeless have spent much of their time writing, composing and recording their debut album Desolation Diaries. Soon after the album was finished the band signed on with Guelph based label Year Of The Sun Records. With their debut album under their belts, Wakeless plan on spreading their distinct sound, playing many shows, waiving their flag high.
