Papa Pider's Jazz Band

One of Gothenburg's most popular jazz bands from the early 1960s and about 25 years on was Papa Piders Jazz Band. The band, which became a concept in Gothenburg, won a number of jazz competitions and was one of the first to also play abroad. After the band was discontinued in the mid-1980s, 2010 was finally the time for a new start. Thus, on the initiative of the band's original drummer Bosse Lindgren, a new band lineup has seen the light of day. they play revival jazz with a lot of vocals and some skiffle, as it was played during the trad boom in England, ie music played by, for example, Acker Bilk, Ken Colyer and Chris Barber. Hand-picked musicians with extensive experience from the European jazz scene guarantee a high level of music.
