Curtis Mathewson

Guitarist and keyboardist of Altered State from 1990 until 1994. He then worked as producer/engineer or as a guest musician for (Train, Motorhead, Foo Fighters ,julia Darling ,Filter, Book of Love, Blondie among others) and has released an 80's retro wave album on Cavity search records in 2000 as "Gentlemen of Leisure". 2015 saw the debut release " Vex'e " in collaboration with singer Steve Gold. A less formal and random experimental/ odd noise collaboration with percussionist Larry Salzman exists on Soundcloud under the name "Ritalin Kid ".2018 he put out a limited cassette release of "ambient/afro" modular synthesizer music under the name Cmathsounds . Current projects include A MANS COLOR "Demos 1983-1987 vol.1 featuring live to cassette recordings and improvisations with singer Steve Gold and features Dean Butterworth on drums, Rob Thomas on Chapman Stick, (not matchbox 20) and Darin Danford on bass
