Jesper Nielsen (5)

Swedish composer of chamber, solo and orchestral music and musician, born 1989 in Tågarp, Svalöv. He has studied composition at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm under Karin Rehnqvist and Pär Lindgren, as well as Gotland's Composer School. He has collaborated with the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra, Niklas Brommare, the Chamber Ensemble, Musica Vitae and the violinists Anna Lindal and Eva Lindal. He is co-founder of Taktonika Musiktjänster and also a member of the electric guitar collective Ensemble Krock, which performed Christofer Elgh's touring chamber opera Valerie's Voice, based on the S.C.U.M manifesto by Valerie Solanas. In 2016, he was elected to the Swedish Composers' Association.
