WOUJI stands for Witch Doctors Of Underground Jazz Improvisation... said to be one of the most influential Filipino jazz band in the early part of 2000. They released two albums namely the KATHA award winning Ground Zero(2001) and Zen and The Art of Dressmaking(2005) before the band went into a indefinite hiatus citing personal and artistic differences. There has been talk of a third album but nothing has come to fruition up to this point. The members of the band are: Koko Bermejo (drums), Simon Tan (bass), Ronald Tomas (sax) and Aya Yuson (guitar).
