In 1963, five simple and ordinary boys, like any others. All students felt at ease listening to the rhythms of fashion, besides they were all "porteños" and Viñamarinos. It was the hot days of summer 1963 and the boys decided to lay the groundwork, for what would be a great ensemble of youth music. Everything was very easy, because they were friends: Fernando Pérez Salinas, Enrique Bascuñán Nuñez, Ismael Rojas Gómez studied at the Normal School. Arturo Rosas Fernandez, studied humanities at the Night Liceo of Viña del Mar and Alvaro Peña Rojas studied theory and theory at the municipal conservatory.
