Debra Fotheringham

American Fork, Utah Debra Fotheringham is a singer/songwriter and writer from American Fork, Utah. She has released three studio albums of original folk/roots music, including her 2007 self-titled album produced by Giles Reaves, as well as Time (2010) and The Darkness and the Sun (2017), both produced by Scott Wiley. She’s also a member of The Lower Lights and has sung on several albums by EDM artist Kaskade. She’s had a few of her poems published. One is even in a real book with a binding and everything. Her songs have been featured on some TV shows and she’s been nominated for a couple of awards. She used to think that it was necessary to exaggerate that kind of stuff and puff herself up a bit as an artist to make those things sound IMPORTANT so people would take her SERIOUSLY but then one day she realized none of that mattered and so she edited this bio. She still likes making music though and when she gets to sing she feels like her consciousness has detached from her body and everything has become pure presence. Ya know?
