Eva Gonson Farag-Hanna

Eva Gonson Farag-Hanna, also known as Ava LaBeija, is an Egyptian/Dutch multidisciplinary artist currently living in the Hague, NL. Drawing inspiration from her indigenous culture, oppression, abuse and violence, she plays with unconventional recordings and instruments to create a sound that embodies her spirit of restlessness and frustration. As an artist, all of her works are deeply rooted in magick and manifestation, tossing aside the notion of sound, visuals and other stimuli as coherent and enjoyable practice. ┼ Malleus Maleficarium
