Brazilian Born in the city of Belém - Pará - Brazil, Sandro Maués formed the band Cristal de Zender at the age of 13 to perform at small school events, friends' parties and small festivals. In 1989 he joined the thrash metal band Zênite as a drummer, also accumulating the role of vocalist in some songs. Parallel to Zênite, Maués also worked as a vocalist for Mitra (Power Metal), remaining in this from 1995 until 2001 when he moved to the state of São Paulo to establish residence with his companions from Zênite. In mid 2005, living in the interior of São Paulo, the musician formed the band Thorgilm (Heavy Metal) accumulating the functions of Vocalist and Guitarist, remaining active in this until the year 2011. In 2013 Sandro Maués took over the vocals of the Thrash Metal Metalizer band, of which he is still a part. In 2015, the musician carried out the project Evals Mess conceived many years ago. Such a project is entirely conceptual, its lyrics and compositions being exclusively based on literary works written by the musician himself. An extension of the work done with Zênite, a band in which he joined as a drummer until 2018, and which based the lyrics of the first three albums also on the literary works written by Maués. Evals Mess, however, is a much more concrete project, being subdivided into three strands that are currently in full activity: Evals Mess Project (Progressive Metal), Evals Mess Insane (Thrash Metal) and Evals Mess Acoustic (Acoustic Songs). In E.M. Project Sandro Maués acts as Multi-instrumentalist; at E.M. Insane he acts as drummer and vocalist and at E.M. Acoustic, percussionist and vocalist. Sandro Maués has also been part of other Brazilian bands such as Extremo Norte (drummer and vocal backing), Wolf Cry (guitarist and vocalist), Titania (vocalist) and Witched (drummer). Currently, Maués is working with Metalizer and Evals Mess.
