American soul singer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Not much is known about him other than anecdote from peers of the day. Jerry Williams used to share an apartment with him and echoed the comments made by Eddie Holman that he was rather a volatile character. Jerry reported that Larry died in the 60s after some sort of confrontation or street brawl. A taped interview with Weldon McDougall, in it he says that Larry had been "drinking" when he recorded “She’s Wanted (In Three States)”. He commended his performance in spite of the boozing.
