Chilean Group from Calama (Chile) on EMI Odeon Records. This loíno group reached big popularity when it was the official group of all the musical events of the Election of "Reina Vecinal de Calama" (2nd Region of Antofagasta), carried out by local newspaper "El Mercurio" in the summer of 1969, with the production and direction of journalist Juan Antonio Marrodán. The funds were destined for the "Hogar de Menores" and the future professional club "Deportes El Loa" which in 1976 became known as "Deportes Cobreloa". In 1971 they recorded their first single for the EMI Odeón label which contained the songs: "De Taco Alto" and "Solo Sin Ti". The song "Solo sin ti" is original of the Spanish group Formula V whose composition and interpretation belongs to the remembered Francisco "Paco" Pastor, whose version is very thin instrumentally while that of the Chilean group is simpler but with a melancholic voice, reason why which liked more than the original in South America, becoming the emblematic song of the Chilean ensemble. The use of the modified name of the Spanish group and the use of one of their songs, was made in order to take advantage of the fame of said group in the confusion and thus facilitate the dissemination of its themes.
