Musega da Vich

Concert Band of Vigo di Fassa, founded in 1820 by Giovanni Battista Detomas. The name Musega da Vich is Ladin. Until the 1980s, before the reform of the Ladin vocabulary, it was called Musika de Vik. It is currently directed by Alessandro Ghetta; the president is Giuliano Pellegrin. The arrangement of the instruments, the commands given by the dealer, as well as the repertoire refer to the South Tyrolean "Musikkapelle". However, the group re-proposes some marches from their historical archive, to preserve their traditions.
