Ken Rainey

Born on June 26, 1958, in Oakdale, La Ken Rainey (Kenneth Paul Rainey) was the son of Hildred and Myrtle Lee Rainey. Following high school, he went on to obtain a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Southern University. He late received a masters in business administration at Rensselear Polytechnic Institute. Kenneth spent his career working for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) for 34 years. His tenure started at the sound lab division in New London, and his later tenure was spent at the Newport, R.I. division. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church of New London, where he served as Chairman of the Deacon Board and was involved in several other ministries. Kenneth Paul Rainey, 51, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, United States.
