Sven-Erik Jacobsson

Swedish opera singer (bass) and educator, born December 8, 1911 in Sundsvall, died April 23, 1993 in Oscar parish in Stockholm. He studied at the Conservatory of Music 1933–1937 and the Opera School 1937–1939. He made his stage debut in 1940 as Sparafucile in Rigoletto and was involved with the Royal Theater 1941–1965. The roles include Masetto and Leporello in Don Giovanni, the title role in Figaro's wedding, Ferrando in Troubadour and the sacristan in Tosca.
