Wallen Earl Rickett was born in the community of Clarendon in the South of Jamaica. He grew up with Everton Blender and formed with him and Curtis Smith the youth band "Everton and the Blenders". Musical aptitude lies in the family: His brother Stan Rick is also a singer, his cousin Ian „Beezy“ Coleman played guitar in Ziggy Marley And The Melody Makers. Rickett released his first two 7" on the small Jamaican label The Good Samaritan under the alias Walyn Ricketts. He earned his living in Ocho Rios as singer in hotels and tourist hotspots. In 1995 he performed at Sunsplash and Sumfest. His first album "You Are" was produced by Barry O'Hare. In 2001 Rickett moved to Germany and used since then the pseudonym Pacey. He works with several artists and bands. Rickett passed away on 28 December 2020 in Dortmund, Germany.
