Multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter from Dundee, Scotland. Been playing and writing for many years. First band was little known Hazzard out of the emerging Dundee soft rock scene, before going on to form the duo Same Differents which when playing live in concert, consisted of Paula on guitar and vocals accompanied by a bassist, with all the rhythm tracks played and pre-programmed by Paula. Only released demo recordings of high quality before it ran its course. From thereon, she played in two covers bands, Oceans Apart with singer Maureen Morrison and the other with singer/guitarists Cindy Nicolson and Lady Miss Emma, plus drummer BY, the band being Mama's Baby, before forming the Paula Knight Band and releasing the album "Wonder" (all original compositions). To promote it, the band did a gig at Zavvi Record Store in Dundee and a short Scottish tour. The drummer left and the band split. After that, in search of a more hard-hitting rock band, she recruited singer Pamela Stewart and once again teamed up with legendary Dundee drummer and busker, BY, wrote a set of tracks for a new album, and, along with assorted bassists over the years, released two albums and an EP to excellent critical acclaim. Sadly, BY passed away a couple of years back and the band has been on hiatus ever since.
