Martin Düben

German organist, born about 1598 or 1599 in Leipzig, died no later than 1650. He was the younger brother of Gustaf Düben D.Ä.. He was called in by the Swedish court conductor Jacob Schmidt to fill the vacant position as Swedish court organist. He was employed by Kungliga Hovkapellet 1626-1633. His activities for the next six years are unknown, but in 1641 he was employed as an organist in Storkyrkan, Stockholm, a position he held until his death.
