Matt Sluder

Died October 4, 2006 Matt Sluder was a gifted guitarist and songwriter who was well known throughout the Southeast. Among the local bands with whom he played were Helix, Richochet, RPM, Dixie Deluxe, the Crystal Zoo, Next Exit, Hollwood Brats and the Caribbean Cowboys. Matt taught guitar to many students over the years. He moved to Nashville, Tenn., in the 1980's to further his career, playing backup to many well-known musicians and creating his own band, Satisfied Minds.
