Marco Svarda

Marco Svarda (born 17 December, 1982, in Brunssum, Limburg, the Netherlands), is a Dutch electronic music producer and DJ, primarily focusing on Trance music. Marco started out as a DJ in 1999, and got in amateur music production around the same time, mainly using MOD-tracker programs like Fasttracker II and Sk@le Tracker at first. Making the switch to more professional music production in 2008, using his 'Mykynes' alias. Currently, Marco operates from the city of Zwolle, Overijssel, the Netherlands, and releases his music productions through his own imprint Premier League Recordings. Marco became one of the early adopters of the Choon-platform in 2018, a cryptocurrency based music platform that envisioned to pay artists a more fair share of revenue. With his releases being fairly popular there, it gave his career a new boost to produce more tracks and remixes. Unfortunately, Choon went out of business in October 2019. Building on the connections from Choon, and the trance scene in general, however, Marco already established his own recordlabel Premier League Recordings in September 2019. Nowadays, Marco releases his track through his own label, and on all common major music platforms again. The Marco Svarda sound can be described as classic influenced trance with an old-school feel, and a modern production technique. Marco Svarda is the founder of the Mykynes Music imprint, on which he releases his independent music and Premier League Recordings, on which he signs releases of himself and others.
