Valentino Vitali

Drummer, percussionist, music teacher and engineer. He developed his drumming following the teachings of Alex Battini, specializing his language on jazz, funk, latin and brazilian rhythms. He studied percussions as a complement to drums, going into latin and afro-cuban percussions, with Roicel Riveron in Cuba, and western African percussion, with Seydou Dao in Milan. He studied piano and harmony with Fabrizio Brezzo. He's attending private drums lesson with Giovanni Giorgi since September 2018. Since 2013, his main activity is drums teaching, including his activity as a Yamaha Music Foundation teacher and examiner. He took a Bachelor degree in automation and control engineering (PoliMi) and he passed some extra exams from the Master degree in Sound and Music Engineering (PoliMi and Conservatorio di Como), where the world of sound meets the world of engineering, going into details of subjects like Acustics, Psychoacustic, Electronics and Electroacoustics for sound engineering, Signal processing, Computer Music and Sound analysis, synthesis and processing.
