DJ Maxx Millz

Early Life Michael "Dj Maxx Millz" Sobers was born and raised in Queens, New York. Millz grew up with music in his blood. His family Frank “Stupid” Sobers (Uncle & Comedian), Pat & Vincent Chin (Uncle & Aunt Owners of VP Records), Clive Chin (Uncle Multi-Platinum Producer) was a big influence because of the huge Entertainment background they kept around him. Millz comes from an eclectic and unique racial and religious background. His father is an Bajan Catholic and his mother is a Jamaican with Chinese & Indian background. Speaking about his personal identity, Millz says, "At the end of the day, I consider myself a black man because I'm more immersed in black culture than any other #Blacklove. Being Coolie is kind of a cool twist. It makes me unique." Millz parents & Siblings raised him in Queens Village, NY, an affluent and predominantly Caribbean neighborhood. Millz Stated "When I was younger, my Brothers & Sisters was mainly there but my Parents was always working." Despite his Jamaican upbringing, Millz says he felt isolated at sometimes. Recent Projects: Millz hopes that his so to be rise to “Rhythm & Culture” fame will continue to prove an asset, not a hindrance. "This whole thing is unusual at this point," he says, "so im just rolling with a positive vibe."
