Gone Sugar Die is a musical collective created by Michael Hindert of The Bravery and Canadian songwriter Patrick McWilliams. McWilliams met Hindert via e-mail after attempting to be a part of his record label, Merrifield Records.The group's EP also features drummer Anthony Burulcich of The Bravery, as well as producer/guitarist Marshall Gallagher, of Teenage Wrist and 3OH!3. Their sound has been described as synth-punk, cheeky and "dirt-pop"; a homage to Hindert's nickname "Dirt".
