Юлия Хуторецкая

Yulia Khutoretskaya is a Russian conductor and organist. She was born on March 19, 1970 in Leningrad. Graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory. In 1992 she founded the Youth Chamber Choir of St. Petersburg while also working as an organist in the Roman Catholic Church of St. Petersburg. The choir has united students of secondary and higher educational institutions of St. Petersburg, performs in the best halls of the city, is a laureate of international competitions in Switzerland and Spain. A number of Petersburg composers dedicated their new compositions to Yulia Khutoretskaya. She is an honorary member of the Choral Conductors Association of America. Yulia Khutoretskaya - friend of Svetlana Surganova / Светлана Сурганова; it was she who introduced her to Angelina Dashkovskaya / Ангелина Дашковская, a vocalist who took part in the recording of the album "Возлюбленная Шопена"; Julia herself also took part in the recording of this album.
