Alison Goodman (2)

(b. 12 August 1966), she is the author of seven novels. Her most recent is [I]The Dark Days Deceit[/I], the third and final book in the [I]Lady Helen[/I] historical dark fantasy trilogy. The first book in the series, [I]The Dark Days Club[/I], is a 2017 CBCA Notable Book for Older Readers, a 2017 Bank Street Library Best Book and an NPR Best Book of 2016. The second book, [I]The Dark Days Pact[/I], won the 2016 Aurealis Award for Best YA Novel. Alison is also the author of the New York Times bestselling duology [I]Eon[/I] (2008) and [I]Eona[/I] (2011). Her award winning debut novel, [I]Singing the Dogstar Blues[/I], was first published in 1998 and is still in print, and her very adult thriller, [I]A New Kind of Death[/I], was a Davitt Award finalist under its original title [I]Killing the Rabbit[/I]. [I]Eon (aka Eon: Dragoneye Reborn)[/I] was also published under the title [I]The Two Pearls of Wisdom[/I]. The sequel [I]Eona (aka Eona: The Last Dragoneye)[/I] was also published under the title [I]The Necklace of the Gods[/I].
