Bob Jones (67)

American bluegrass guitarist, singer, fiddler, born September 30, 1944. Founded the Blue Ridge Mountain Boys in the late 1960s, moving them to California in 1972. Broke up the band in 1975 to play with Bill Monroe & His Blue Grass Boys, but re-established it in 1977 and has led it ever since. Bob now lives in New Zealand, and since the late 1980s the band mostly performs outside of the USA.
