Geraldo Guimarães

Geraldo Guimarães (Salvador, January 3, 1978) is a Brazilian singer of contemporary Christian music. Born in Salvador, Geraldo had his first contact with music at the age of 14. As a teenager, he began singing in the worship ministry at the church he attended. When he turned 18 he moved to Rio de Janeiro, where he was consecrated minister of praise. In 2010, he released his first work entitled Casa do Pai. This album was released independently and was produced by Rogério Vieira. On March 9, 2012, he signed a contract with MK Music. In May of the same year, he released the album Maravilhosa Graças, a live album. This album was recorded at Igreja Videira, in Rio de Janeiro. In 2014, he began producing his second album through MK Music, entitled Céus Abertos. The album was released in December 2014. Recorded in the studio, but with live recordings, the CD features the participation of Bruna Karla and Fernandinho. In December 2016, he released the CD Inédito de Deus, his third album with the MK Music label.
