A musician, sound designer, and occasional engineer.Lives in Ithaca, NY, where there’s a lively new-music scene -- and where he saw his first electronic music concert in 1969. It was the first-ever public performance using a Minimoog. After that, it was a good many years before he got back to music as a performer, though for a decade or more he worked as a touring lighting director, stage manager, and production manager for places like the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Houston Grand Opera, American Repertory Theater, and the Spoleto Festival The stuff he made on his own can be found on SoundCloud . His most frequent collaborator is James Spitznagel -- together, they performed as DFLT,a collaboration of BFLT Trio and Beard Farm. For a year or so he was the main organizer of the Ithaca Electrozone, where he was a frequent solo player and participant in group jams. He also collaborated on a CD with Charles Shriner, and has an ongoing project with Karl Fury called Beard Farm.
