In the early 1990s, Tim Crouch started to produce music, and joined forces with MC Matrix to from the group known as N.A.M. The group quickly got a record deal with Warrior Records. The track "Recycler" was the groups first single. After N.A.M split in 1993, Crouch formed a new production outfit called Ni-Cad. He started his own label called Sound Asylum, and produced the massive rave party hit "Brainwash". This was the group's first single, and took the outfit all over the UK on a promotion tour. After a good run as a producer Crouch concentrated on the DJing side of things, playing clubs such as The Escape (Brighton), The Zap (Brighton), Turnmills (London), Brixton Fridge (London). After moving to China in 1996, Crouch has become one of the pioneers of the Chinese Dance music seen. He continues to live in Shanghai, China, DJing in the country's best clubs on a regular basis, and still finds time to produce music.
