Katherine Canoville

Katherine Canoville has worked in and around the Music Industry for approx twenty years, having formed and managed Nation Records in 1988. She left the centralised industry in 1998. Having relocated back to the North, Katherine now works predominantly as a Music Consultant, as part of her company, FULL 36IXTY, for New Deal and CIDA in Huddersfield, on a freelance basis for such organisations as the Bradford International Festival booking Bradford Mela 2003, as well as part-time Radio Trainer for BCB Radio at Shipley New Start Centre. Katherine has set up a Music Publishing Company called Mule UK Music (Publishing) Limited, progressed Full 36ixty and co-programmed the artistic content of the Bradford Festival Mela 2004 and Kirklees Mela 2004 (as well as a post-Mela Global Meltdown at Rhythms in Indigo). Started residency, as DJ Full 36ixty, at Disoriental at The Love Apple on it's last Friday of each month and from 28th May 2004 Global Meltdown started as a once monthly live event at The Love Apple. More recently she has began working as Cultural Arts & Heritage Officer at Manninghams' Frontline Initiative to develop their cultural arts activities, funded by Bradford Council's Dept of Arts, Heritage & Leisure.
