Since 1994, Martin Birgersson has delivered Laholmspunk as the singer and bassist of Svintask, most likely is the only band in the genre. Birgersson is also the drummer of the Malmö based project Social Kompetens, and has previously been active in the noise act Tätort and the legendary Swedish lo-fi, digital beat, tape only outfit Django Kill.
