Spencer Perskin

Violinist and lead vocalist in Austin, Texas psychedelic rock band Shiva’s Headband. Perskin formed the group in 1967 with his wife Susan. Perskin was accepted as a child to the music program at tSouthern Methodist University in Dallas, where he studied for eight years, playing with various orchestras. Perskin continued performing with orchestras while attending college at North Texas State University. Perskin also plays guitar and saxophone. He owns then company Bluethroat Records.
