Aurore Tillac

French musician and singer, born in 1980. She started playing melodeon and clarinet, studying music in Tarbes. Moving to Paris, she joined the Conservatoire and won a first prize in Gregorian chant. Aurore Tillac then joined the Ensemble Dialogos, and was assistant of choirmaster of La Maîtrise de Paris (2002-2003). From 2002 to 2006, she was musical director of Concentus Vocal, a vocal ensemble of soloists favoring early and baroque music, and from 2003 to 2007, was choirmaster of the University of Paris. In 2006, she created La Manufacture Vocale, a mixed vocal ensemble that "tackles" serious, less serious, classical and less classical music. She joined the Choeur De L'Armée Française on November 2005 as deputy chief, and has been the titular choirmaster since September 2007, at the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.
